"Endure Until The End"Matthew 24:11-13 August 3, 2021

Updated: Jan 30, 2022

Endurance is the power to suffer through something painful or difficult with patience. In this Christian walk, we must have a continuing Christian commitment in the face of difficulty. Endurance is a quality that God uses to develop our character. It is what we need to be victorious in this Christian race; Matthew 24:13.

In a race or other sporting events that take place over a long distance, physical endurance is necessary. It takes strict and intense training to increase human stamina. Because Christians take human weakness seriously, we realize the crucial necessity of divine support when we encounter persecution and temptation. It is not in our own strength that we are able to endure, but through the power of God. Therefore, prayer must become a vital part of our Christian walk, and faith in Jesus' endurance is our inspiration and motivation.

The enemy will tell you that it is too hard, it's not worth it and you can't do it. But the word of God says you can! Isaiah 40:31

Some Steps to Gaining Endurance

• Put God first, trust Him to set the pace.

• Commit to the finish and don't give up.

• When the going gets hard, call on Jesus ( Pray).

• Trust God's Will and His Word.

Some endure while some give up. Sometimes we have great bursts of strength and sometimes we feel weak, but we must stay in the race! Endurance offers us a reward that is a "crown of righteousness" 2 Tim 4:5-8.

This battle/race is a lifelong one. We finish by keeping the faith. Restoration and re-acceptance means we have to endure to the point of death. Our patience and endurance lets God know that He can depend on us to finish what He started in us.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:2-4

Be Blessed!
